Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 20 June 2025

1. Monitoring Services

East Coast Systems provides professional monitoring of alarm and security systems through our trusted monitoring provider, Alarm Watch NZ. Our service includes 24/7 response to alarm signals and system health checks where applicable.

2. Equipment & Installation

All equipment remains the property of the client unless otherwise stated. East Coast Systems is not liable for faults due to third-party equipment or non-compliant installations not performed by us or our authorised partners.

3. Fees & Payment

Monitoring fees are billed monthly or annually as agreed. Payments must be made by the due date specified on the invoice. Late payments may result in suspension of monitoring services.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for ensuring their system is operational and that contact details on file are up to date. False alarms due to user error or system misuse are not the responsibility of East Coast Systems.

5. Service Limitations

While we aim for 100% uptime, East Coast Systems and its monitoring partner are not liable for delays, missed signals, or outages caused by network failures, power outages, or events outside our control.

6. Cancellation & Termination

Clients may cancel their monitoring agreement with 30 days’ notice. Early termination fees may apply depending on the remaining contract term.

7. Changes to Terms

East Coast Systems may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
